Dhelabagh Small Hydel Project (2 x 500 KW)

Salient features

Sone Canal System is one of the oldest canal systems in the country. It is operation since  1874.

The Dhelabagh H.E. Project envisages to utilize the existing fall of 3.2 meter on Arrah Branch Canal  at 8.2 Km. Main Canal for generation of Hydro Electric Power.

Location : Block –Dehri-on-Sone, Distt –Rohtas (Sasaram).

5.         Generator (s)                                                   :           Synchronous Brushless, Electronic Governor, 2 nos. vertical  Generator  500  KW; 0.9 p.f. 415 voltage.
